First of all, thank you for the interest and support you have shown towards the 9th Geoje City Council.
As the chairman of Geoje City Council which represents 240,000 residents of Geoje, I feel a great sense of honor and responsibility.
As the chairman, I promise you that the council will try its utmost to bring happiness to the residents and to develop the city.
We are at an important moment that will decide the direction of Geoje’s next 100 years.
The construction of a new airport, final KTX stop, the supercycle of the shipbuilding industry and many other important matters are at hand for Geoje City Council and the executive body of the city administration to take care of.
The 9th Geoje City Council will fulfill its fundamental duty of maintaining checks and balances on the executive body of the city administration while establishing a strong partnership and coalition for the prosperity of Geoje.
We also promise you that we will always pay attention to the voices of the people.
